Why 'Rest Easy Shape Joy'?
It's about bringing the fun back to renovations and knowing you made the right choices - for you.
Renovating a house can take a long time. There are so many choices to make, so many products and materials to choose from - have you seen the number of taps you can buy? And we all want to be assured that we made the right choice, the healthy choice - for us, our family and the planet. But how do you know where to start?
It's easy to get decision-fatigue when faced with so many choices. You might have started out with a picture in your mind for how you wanted it to look and feel. And then you got excited about what you could do. And if you're anything like me you're already choosing the colours. But, as they say, the devil is in the details.
When Post-It Notes Aren't Enough
Short of living in a terrarium - nice views, shame about all the sand - at some point you will need to know what you want, where it will go, if it will fit, what colour it will be, and how much it will cost. And if you have to know all of that and more, for everything you want to do, then you are certainly going to need a plan, and a long list.
Now, I'm a fan of long lists, and I really like planning things. But if even I can get a bit tired of all the decisions, then what's to be done? That's what I'll be exploring in this blog. Making things easier to manage, making it easier to feel like you made the right choices for you, and working out how to enjoy the process. Bringing a sense of joy back to shaping your own environment.
